The SLR Mclaren is coming in early 2004.  Unfortunately the roadster version will not be produced according to current plans.  Other than that there is not much to complain about.  The supercharged 600 hp V8 will propel the SLR to 60 in 3.8 seconds and a sub-12 second 1/4 mile.  Top speed's not too shabby either at 205 MPH. Advanced technology includes a spoiler that rises according to speed and helps breaking.  Mercedes has also brought back the air brake.    At £165,000, the performance matches the price tag.  Something that can't be said for most Mercedes.
